A unique multi-family housing complex located in the heart of the charming American Colony neighborhood.
Hidden between Neve Tzedek and Jaffa's Commerce area, it corresponds to the surrounding historic fabric: a simple, rectangular stucco structure, a sort of a base to a wooden crate laid above, it forms a modern interpretation to the 19th century New England style wooden houses that characterize the neighborhood.
Within the structure are six duplex apartments. The upper units enjoy a pitched roof space that opens up to a balcony, whereas the garden units enjoy a beautiful and serene private courtyard that provides an apparent extension of space to the living room, a calm sanctuary amid the busy metropolis.
The rhythmic sequence of openings on the wooden façade exhibits an expression of simplicity and clarity in the design intent.
